Cozy and warm, if a little kitschy; Hamaya is a great place to just kick back and end the day with some food and drinks. I had the burger: it was a sloppy, flavorful surprise that I'd recommend anytime; as long as you're willing to grease your fingers bit. The true star, however, is the pizza: misidentified as 'margherita'; it's actually topped with pepperoni, and no bay leaves.. but the cheese-stuffed crust, compounded with the firm, crunchy dough makes for pleasant eating. I would like to make this 5 stars, but the solitary staff was way overworked, and started getting grumpy at the end. Still, he cooked for *ten* of us like a champ, so it's not a straight complaint from me.
